Established in 1975, the Muncie Children's Museum combines education with fun at its 24,000-square-foot facility, wherein children can interact with a variety of displays as well as explore its ongoing events or even have a birthday party. Highlights include the Dino Dig, where kids can search for fossils, the Bat Cave, where they can learn the science behind bats, and the Ant Wall, where kids can crawl around inside a child-sized ant colony. The museum is in downtown Muncie, just south of Tuhey Park near the Horizon Convention Center.
